Danish container shipping giant AP Moller-Maersk is making data available to external parties to improve customer visibility. It is using technology from Finnish IoT company Youredi.

Youredi’s work is to ensure that Maersk systems can be integrated to external platforms in an effective and cost-efficient manner, without a need to customise or change the existing systems in the ecosystem. The connectivity provided by Youredi enables real-time information exchange automatically, thus improving the efficiency of processes and providing end-to-end visibility across the ecosystem.

“From the beginning, Youredi’s mission has been to support the digitisation of the global supply chain to ultimately improve the efficiency and visibility of global trade,” said Jaakko Elovaara, chief executive officer of Youredi. “Our technology can help Maersk to rapidly connect with any participants within the value chain and share information in real time.”

Youredi is a provider of a cloud-based integration platform as a service (iPaaS) with a focus on global supply chain management and logistics.

The company enables quick connections and message translations between supply chain partners and customers. Integrating with communities, carriers, shippers, consignees and the systems that they use, it provides global scale, speed and agility. This seamless real-time flow of data gives organisations the ability to analyse and optimise all supply chain processes.

Youredi provides a range of products related to big data, the IoT and analytics.
