Luxer One, Position Imaging partner on Smart Package Room

New Hampshire based package tracking tech specialist Position Imaging is partnering with San Francisco-based package management platform provider Luxer One to offer Position Imaging's Smart Package Room® solution.

Position Imaging developed the Smart Package Room® solution to allow a hands-off approach to package deliveries for apartment staff and provide pickup flexibility for residents. It provides for package tracking, monitoring, and delivery notification to residents.

Like existing package delivery solutions, couriers scan and place packages into an apartment community’s designated package room. The Smart Package Room® solution differs in that it "knows" who delivered the package, when it was delivered, and where it was placed inside the room.

On delivery, the Smart Package Room® sends residents a text or email with a pin to get access to the room. When residents arrive, the room guides the resident to their package through a digital display of the space showing their package position inside the room and laser light guidance pointing to their package. The room also talks to residents, guiding them to their package.
