Data transparency and analytical applications firm Forerunner Group has launched an end-to-end drug supply chain tracking system to provide Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) compliance.

The Pennsylvania company’s RX Transparent Compliance platform provides visibility and transparency throughout the entire pharmaceutical supply chain, including traceability beyond the loading dock to the individual dose.

The platform was developed in partnership with a Fortune 500 healthcare system, specifically for pharmaceutical dispensers. As a result, it is used by some of the most admired hospital systems, and is recommended by three of the top five GPOs, representing 65 per cent of healthcare facilities across the USA.

"RX Transparent Compliance is a great combination of leading-edge technology and industry expertise that delivers tremendous value and works in real-world scenarios," said Dwight deVera, CEO of Forerunner Group. "Already, we are seeing significant demand as hospitals and healthcare systems are under pressure to meet ever-increasing healthcare supply chain regulations."

The platform is cloud-based, secure, scalable and easy to use, providing anytime, anywhere access on any internet-ready device. It enables seamless tracking across real-world healthcare settings and scenarios, including transfers, borrow and trade, repackaging and off-label use, and first responder resupply. Users can meet DSCSA requirements and gain a better view of their healthcare supply chains, enabling them to make smarter decisions to improve the bottom line.
