Italian embedded system provider Eurotech has announced a multi-service IoT edge gateway with LTE connectivity for industrial and lightly rugged applications.
The ReliaGate 10-14 is an evolution of the ReliaGate 10-12 that embeds a more powerful core bringing more computational capabilities and memory. With this evolution addressing the more and more demanding industrial-grade IoT applications should be easier and faster. An extra feature – video output capability – is also available.
The ReliaGate 10-14 has a compact mechanical enclosure with a small profile, suitable for installation on Din rails, reducing the cost of installation and the mounting space required, allowing an easy retrofit in existing cabinets and other applications.
Given the focus on end-to-end security for the deployment of IoT services, the product is designed to meet the cyber-security standards set by IEC 62443-4-1/2 including an anti-tamper mechanism to detect and report unauthorised access to the device, secure boot and TPM 2.0 for secure storage and device identification.
An input power monitoring technology enables the checking of regular operative conditions and allows detection of operation anomalies, facilitating pre-emptive maintenance and enhancing the device security.
It will be compatible with existing modules extending the gateways capability and bringing extra features: the ReliaIO 10-12, an IO expansion module; and ReliaLoRa 10-12, a LoRa gateway module.
“The new ReliaGate 10-14 is moving along the way established by the successful ReliaGate 10-12 for industrial and lightly rugged applications," said Massimiliano Marrone, Eurotech’s boards and systems product manager. “It delivers more performance, installation flexibility and more functionalities including connectivity options and end-to-end security features, for the secure deployment of IoT services globally."
The ReliaGate 10-14 will be available in in the second quarter of 2020.
