DSI, a Kansas City-based provider of mobile-first and cloud supply chain services to help businesses transform and succeed in the digital economy, is acquiring Ensync Solutions, based in Overland Park, Kansas. Ensync has been providing certified supply chain software and services to Microsoft Dynamics and IFS customers for more than 16 years.

“We have been impressed with the quality of the ScanWork X software and the strong emphasis the management team places on customer and employee satisfaction,” said Matt McGraw, president and CEO of DSI. “Ensync is a great cultural and business fit for DSI as we continue to invest in mobile-first supply chain solutions that are certified for enterprise software.”

Roger Resley, president and CEO of Ensync, added: “The Ensync team is excited about the extensive resources that DSI brings to fuel our growth, increase development efforts and to offer IFS and Microsoft Dynamics clients the ability to maximise their investment in our ScanWork X software. Through integrations into DSI’s mobile application development platform, Microsoft Dynamics and IFS customers will now be able to extend outside of the four walls using applications like route sales, direct store delivery and field services. This is a great strategic fit between two long-time software companies.”

Microsoft Dynamics AX continues to show strong growth worldwide with more than 20,000 global customers and over 30 per cent growth in North America. Further, Microsoft’s commitment to offering AX in cloud, partner-hosted and on-premises models aligns with DSI’s deployment flexibility.

IFS, an enterprise asset management (EAM) and enterprise service management (ESM) company, has a strong presence in industrial manufacturing and service management and fits well with DSI’s strategic growth plans.

“This acquisition demonstrates to our existing customers using Microsoft Dynamics or IFS our on-going commitment to helping them transform their supply chains in the digital economy,” said McGraw.

Ensync is a certified software and professional services company with nearly two decades of experience in providing integrated supply chain services with its family of ScanWork X mobile software products and support for Microsoft Dynamics and IFS customers.
