M2M player Numerex is showing off a range of supply chain and asset tracking solutions at this week’s CTIA tradeshow in Las Vegas.
The nxLOCATE device is ideal for asset tracking and supply chain operations and offers cellular, satellite and hybrid options as well as a built-in accelerometer for “on movement” transmission options.
It can also be updated remotely.
Numerex (Atlanta, GA, USA) is also demonstrating its i3G i-Tank bulk liquid supply chain solution, the AvidDirector remote monitoring and control solution and the Audiovox Car Connection vehicle and driver monitoring solution.
It has also unveiled an M2M cloud service that it says will provide vertical-specific functionality to support quick deployment of M2M services.
INSITE – as it is called – allows application service providers to focus on delivering applications that meet the needs of vertical customers, says Numerex, providing device management, subscription management, data transformation and data integration services.
“We look forward to unveiling our latest products, as well as presenting our award-winning lineup of solutions at CTIA,” said Jeff Smith, chief innovation and technology officer for Numerex. “As industry leaders in the Internet of Things, we are proud to be operating on the cutting-edge of M2M solutions development, focusing on real-world issues that span a myriad of industries.”
